A pioneering force in Buffalo arts and culture, Marian de Forest was both a groundbreaking journalist and playwright. She founded Zonta International and established the Buffalo Musical Foundation. Her stage adaptation of “Little Women” achieved Broadway success and launched Katharine Cornell’s career in the role of Jo March.
