From her early work at Buffalo’s Paul Robeson Theater workshop, Ruff built an impressive career that took her to Broadway and Hollywood. Her notable roles include Berniece in August Wilson’s “The Piano Lesson” off-Broadway and appearances as Lady Capulet and Coretta Scott King on Broadway.
